George A. Bradshaw and Peggy Lippard Bradshaw of Salisbury celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017 at Pine Ridge Baptist Church with family and friends.

George and Peggy were married Nov. 6, 1952 in Chester, S.C. by Hattie Harden.

George served in the United States Army. He was licensed to preach 1964, ordained in 1968. He served White Crest Baptist, Montgomery County; Lake View, Albemarle; and Pine Ridge, China Grove.

The Bradshaws have two sons, Wayne and wife Stephanie, and Donnie, all of Salisbury.
