Rowan County Sheriff’s Office adds two most wanted list

SALISBURY — Two registered sex offenders have been added to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office most-wanted list.
The men are wanted for failing to notify the sheriff of an address change.
Derick Scott Moore, 31, a white man, is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. His last known location was in China Grove.
Moore was convicted in 2010 in Davidson County of felony indecent liberties with a child. He has misdemeanor convictions for obstruction of justice and driving while impaired.
Daniel Paul Luther, 34, a white man who is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds, is wanted for removing his ankle monitor by probation officers and the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office. His last known location was Salisbury.
Luther was convicted in 2009 of felony indecent liberties with a child in Davidson County. He also has a number of misdemeanor convictions including breaking and entering, larceny, drug possession and communicating threats. Luther is currently on probation until next year.
