Welcome to the first day of winter, which won’t be too cold. You may see some patchy fog before 10, and then clouds will begin to clear, leading to a high of 50, with east wind at 5-7 mph.
Clouds will return tonight, with a low of 37.
Friday will be partly sunny and 58 with southwest wind around 6 mph in the afternoon. Friday night will have a 20 percent chance of showers after 3 a.m. The low will be 46 with south southwest wind at 3-7 mph.
Saturday will have a 50 percent chance of showers and be mostly cloudy and warmer, with a high of 64. Winds will come from the south southwest at 7-14 mph, gusting as high as 20 mph, so hold on to your outdoor decorations.
Saturday night also has a 50 percent chance of showers, with a low of 45.
Christmas Eve will have a 30 percent chance of showers and be mostly cloudy, with a high of 55. The same chance of rain is possible Sunday night, mainly before 8 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and cold, with a low of 32. Santa needs a good blast of cold to get his sleigh going.
Christmas Day will be sunny and 44, with a very cold low of 25.
Tuesday will be sunny and 46, with a low of 26.
And Wednesday should be mostly sunny and 46 again.
