SALISBURY — A 16-year-old stabbing victim was conscious and breathing when he was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Sunday, says Salisbury Police Department Public Information Officer Greg Beam.
Beam said that, at around 11 a.m. Sunday, police got a call that two people had gotten into an altercation on Tabernacle Street and that one person was stabbed.
When the victim was brought to Wake Forest Baptist, doctors performed an exploratory surgery, the results of which have not yet been released.
Police still have not identified a suspect.
