Robber steals pills from Rite Aid on East Innes

SALISBURY — Salisbury police are investigating a Tuesday night robbery at Rite Aid in which a man walked away with pills from the pharmacy.
The robbery occurred at 8:43 pm at 1605 E. Innes St.
The robber is described as a white man in his mid-40s to 50s with a salt-and-pepper, short beard. He is of medium to large build and between 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He wore a hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head.
The man told the pharmacist he had a weapon, but the pharmacist said she did not see one.
Police said the pharmacist complied with the man’s demand.
