With the 60-degree weather and the start of a new season just weeks away, Catawba College baseball players took to the field Tuesday for conditioning exercises and to keep their muscles loose by running short sprints.
After a week of freezing temperatures, the warm sunshine was a welcome relief for the players as they prepare for their season opener on Feb. 1 in Florida against Nova Southeastern.
