Rowan weather: Warm, rainy, then cooling off again

You can expect some rain and wind today, with the chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon and evening.
It’s unusually warm this morning, 65 degrees, and that will be near our high of 67. There is an 80 percent chance of rain through 3 p.m., then showers and the storms later this afternoon. Patchy fog will hang around this morning until 10.
Winds will come from the south at 9-13 mph, with gusts up to 18 mph. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.
Thunderstorms and showers are likely tonight, with showers continuing overnight. The low will be 39, with south wend at 9-11 mph, shifting to the northwest after midnight. The chance of rain is 80 percent, with a tenth to quarter inch possible, or more in thunderstorms.
The weekend will be sunny, but cooler, with north winds.
Saturday will be mostly sunny and 45, with north northwest wind at 10-14 mph, gusting up to 18 mph. Saturday night will be clear with a cold low of 22. North wind will blow at 6-10 mph.
Sunday will be sunny, but cold, with a high of 36 and north northeast wind at 3-8 mph. The low will be a frigid 19.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be mostly sunny and 40, with a low of 23.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 44, but a very cold low of 16. Consider letting a trickle of water run through your pipes.
The high Wednesday will be right at the freezing mark, 32, with an even colder low of 15.
And Thursday should be sunny and 38.
