Rowan weather: Rain, thunderstorms overnight

After a beautiful weekend, expect rain tonight and into Tuesday.
Today will be partly sunny and 63, with winds from the south at 5-9 mph this afternoon.
The chance of rain overnight is 80 percent, starting as showers, with thunderstorms possible toward morning. Storms could have strong wind gusts and frequent cloud to ground lightning.
The low will be 52, with patchy fog after 10 p.m. South southeast wind will be a 7-15 mph, with gusts up to 24 mph. A tenth to a quarter inch of rain is possible, with some higher amounts in thunderstorms.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely Tuesday morning, with a 60 percent chance of rain. It will be mostly cloudy, but clear gradually, leading to a high of 60. Southwest wind will be at 11-16 mph, gusting up to 25 mph.
Tuesday night will be clear with a low of 31 and west northwest wind at 5-9 mph.
Wednesday should be sunny and 51, with west northwest wind at 5-9 mph. The low will be 27.
Thursday will be sunny and 51, as well, with a low of 28.
Friday will be sunny and 54, with a low of 34.
Saturday brings a 40 percent chance of showers, cloudy skies and a high of 54.
Saturday night has a 60 percent chance of showers, with a low of 46.
Sunday’s chance of rain is 70 percent, with a high of 60.
