Marlene Johnson found guilty of first degree murder.

Upon hearing verdict of guilty of 1st degree murder, Johnson fell to the ground. The judge made her stand back up.

Johnson has been sentenced to life without parole.

Tracy Brown, Shirley Pierce’s daughter said: “I can never forgive you for what you did and if that means that keeps me from going to heaven to see her then I will meet you in hell.”

Johnson disagrees with jury’s decision. Says she’s innocent. Judge said evidence contradicts her statement. Will sentence her to life w/o parole. Judge: “Ma’am you will die in prison. That is my order.”
