In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• Nu Wave Salon reported a break-in Saturday at 512 Klumac Road.

• Police investigated the assault of a woman on Saturday.

• A woman reported Saturday that her vehicle was vandalized in the 1300 block of East Council Street.

• A woman reported Saturday that her cellphone was stolen while she was parked at JF Hurley Family YMCA, 828 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.

• Gabrielle Olivia Hudson, 24, was charged Friday with misdemeanor larceny from Rushco No. 11 after she took candy, snacks and some cigars on two different days from the store, 2004 Statesville Blvd.

• Jerome Lee, 55, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor assault on a female in the 1100 block of West Fisher Street.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• Stout Heating and Air reported Thursday that someone tried to steal an HVAC unit from the business, 4243 S. Main St.

• On Track Auto Sales reported Thursday that someone stole items from a vehicle at the business, 4235 S. Main St.

• A man reported Thursday that tools were removed from a vehicle parked at Higgins Automotive, 4325 S. Main St.

• A woman on Thursday reported a burglary on Jan. 13 in the 13400 block of U.S. 52, Gold Hill.

• Probation officers discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia at a home in the 1000 block of Highland Woods Drive.

• A woman reported a larceny in the 300 block of Phillips Avenue.

• Ethan Rhyne Yates, 28, was charged Thursday with felony financial card theft while at the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

• Dekevas Jamal Core, 36, was charged Thursday with felony larceny of a motor vehicle from 69200 block of North Interstate 85 and Mount Hope Church Road, China Grove. The vehicle was recovered.

• Brian Dale Jackson, 45, was charged Thursday with felony breaking and entering vehicles in the 1100 block of Keystone Drive.

• Freddy Angel Arroyo, 19, and Jordan Taiyon Oglesby, 17, were charged Thursday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI in the 1000 block of Highland Woods Drive, Kannapolis, after a search by probation officers.

• Destiny Leigh Beaver, 20, was charged Thursday with misdemeanor simple assault while at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office.
