Rowan weather: One more nice day

We’ll be singing “Rain, rain go away” over the weekend, with the possibility of up to 2 inches of rain.
Today, though, will be sunny and warmer, with a high of 56 and south wind at 5-7 mph.
We’ll have a 60 percent chance of rain tonight, mainly between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m., followed by showers and patchy fog. The low will be 44, with calming wind.
Saturday has a 60 percent chance of rain, too, with cloudy skies and a high near 57. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.
The chance of rain Saturday night is 80 percent, with a low of 55. Winds from the south at 8-13 mph could gust as high as 21 mph. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.
Sunday also has an 80 percent chance of rain, with thunderstorms possible after 10 a.m. It will be warm, with a high of 67. Winds will be south southwest at 11-14 mph, gusting up to 23 mph.
Sunday night continues with the same 80 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms. The low will be 54.
Monday has a 60 percent chance of showers, mainly before noon. It will be cloudy and 60. The chance of rain Monday night is 50 percent, with a low of 44.
Tuesday will be cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers, and a high of 54. The rain chance drops to 30 percent Tuesday night, mostly before 10 p.m. The low will be 45.
Finally, we’ll see a little sun Wednesday and a high of 65.
Then a 30 percent chance of rain comes in Wednesday night, with a low of 49.
Thursday, too, will have a 30 percent chance of showers, be mostly cloudy and 67.
