SALISBURY — An inmate was found with heroin inside his cell at the Rowan County Detention Center, according to county authorities.

Jordan Taylor Dunn, 23, was charged Wednesday with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance Schedule I.

In other Sheriff’s Office reports:

• TQM Roofing reported Wednesday that someone stole a credit card between Dec. 16 and Feb. 7 and used it at Love’s Travel Plaza, 1105 Peeler Road.

• A woman reported Wednesday that her daughter would not go to school and assaulted the mother and damaged their home in the 9100 block of Stokes Ferry Road.

• HUD Properties on Wednesday reported a burglary at 2530 Organ Church Road, Rockwell.

• A woman on Wednesday reported a theft at her home in the 12300 block of Cool Springs Road, Cleveland.
