SALISBURY — Thieves broke into a local church twice in two months, according to the Salisbury Police Department.

Authorities say someone broke a back window at Iglesia Nuevo Renacer on Jan. 27 and again on Wednesday night.

In the first incident, thieves took $200.

Detectives were told by church officials that it didn’t appear anything was missing in the Wednesday break-in.

The church is located at 200 Klumac Road.
