Rowan weather: Dense fog this morning

We are under a dense fog advisory until 11 a.m. Visibility in some areas will be less than a quarter mile.

The fog is creating very damp conditions this morning. It will become a mostly cloudy day with a high of 69 and south southwest wind at 3-7 mph.

Tonight brings a 20 percent chance of showers, with more patchy fog after 9 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 59, with south wind 3-6 mph.

Look for more fog Wednesday morning, and another 20 percent chance of showers. It will be mostly cloudy again, with a high of 74 and south southwest wind at 6-9 mph.

The same chance of showers is possible Wednesday night, with a low of 60 and south wind at 3-5 mph.

For Thursday, the chance of showers is 30 percent, and will be mainly between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy again, with a high of 72 and south southwest wind at 6-9 mph.

The 30 percent chance of rain and showers extends into Thursday night, with rain before 9, followed by showers. The low will be 54 and it will be mostly cloudy.

Friday also has a 30 percent chance of rain. It will be mostly cloudy and 64. Same chance of rain Friday night, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 56.

Saturday has a 40 percent chance of showers after 7 a.m., and will be mostly cloudy and 73. Saturday night has the same chance of rain and will be mostly cloudy again, with a low of 59.

For Sunday, same old song — mostly cloudy, 40 percent chance of rain, high of 71. A 30 percent chance of showers is possible Sunday night, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 40.

Finally, on Monday, it could be partly sunny and 64, but we’ll still have a 30 percent chance of showers.
