Rowan weather: Cooler, wetter

The week ahead is going to be cooler and likely wetter than last week, but we might have a little more sunshine in between. And we’ll be back to more seasonable temperatures.
Today, we have a 90 percent chance of showers through the day, then rain after 5 p.m. Patchy fog is possible before 2 p.m. It will be 59, with north northeast wind at 5-9 mph. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.
There will be more fog overnight, with the skies eventually clearing, and a low of 38. North northeast wind will be at 5-7 mph.
Tuesday will be sunny and 61 with east northeast wind around 6 mph. Clouds move in Tuesday night, with a low of 42.
The chance of rain Wednesday is 70 percent, with showers mainly in the afternoon. It will be cloudy and 57 with south southwest wind around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Wednesday’s low will be 50, and the chance of rain goes up to 80 percent.
For Thursday, there’s a 90 percent chance of showers, with a high of 63. Thursday night’s low will be 44, with just a 30 percent chance of showers, mostly before 10 p.m.
Friday, if we’re lucky, will be sunny again, with a high of 58 and a low of 36.
Saturday will be sunny, too, with a high of 57 and a low of 35.
And Sunday should be sunny, with a high of 56.
