Plein Air Carolina is an organization of amateur and professional painters located in Salisbury, NC. Plein Air literally translates to “painting in the open air.” Artists paint in a variety of locations, with the security of working together and enjoying the companionship of fellow painters. It is an opportunity for all members to grow professionally. Membership is open to all interested painters; artists need not have ‘plein air’ experience to be members. See www.pleinaircarolina.com to learn more.
‘Into the Open’ is part of the ongoing Salisbury Business Center Art Partnerships Gallery Exhibits Program, wherein gallery space is provided to local artists in an effort promote area artists and to increase art appreciation within the community. To achieve our goals, the SBC sponsors art exhibits in four periods annually, free and open to the public. Visitors can view the exhibit weekdays, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Artists interested in exhibiting their work for future exhibitions at the Salisbury Business Center should send photos and contact information to receptionist@integro-tech.com.
