Letter: Bravo to the Salisbury Symphony

Last Saturday’s performance by the Salisbury Symphony was really magnificent.

Under the baton of Maestro David Hagy, the orchestra played an entire program devoted to beautiful music by Czech composer Antonin Dvorak.

The performance was appropriately dedicated in memoriam to Anne Sellitti, former principal cellist, and Bill Stanback, a longtime supporter of the Salisbury Symphony.

I wish to express my sincere appreciation to the Salisbury Symphony’s loyal musicians, Maestro Hagy and Executive Director James Harvey for their extraordinary commitment to sharing such great music with our community and beyond.

I’m eagerly looking forward to the May 5 concert featuring country music star Darrell Harwood. Tickets are still available at www.salisburysymphony.org.
