SALISBURY — A man was killed Sunday when his 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle crashed into a 2003 Dodge on Miller Road.

Billy Wayne Walters of Salisbury, 54, died at the scene, according to authorities.

The accident was reported at 4:48 p.m. Sunday. According to a law enforcement report, the wreck occurred when the Dodge, driven by George Frank Miller, 94, of Salisbury, turned left into a driveway off Miller Road. Walters, who was driving in the southbound lane, was unable to stop.

The vehicles each sustained $8,000 in damage. No charges were filed.
