Rowan weather: Cool and sunny today

Cold is the word for this morning, with a low that dipped below the freezing mark — 30 degrees.
Today will warm up to 61 with sunny skies and light north winds this afternoon.
Tonight will be partly cloudy and not as cold, with a low of 41 and south wind at 3-6 mph.
Clouds increase Friday, as does the wind. The high will be 69, with southwest wind at 7-15 mph and gusts as high as 22 mph.
A 30 percent chance of showers is possible in the early morning hours of Saturday. The overnight low will be 54, with mostly cloudy skies and south wind at 6-9 mph.
Saturday’s chance of rain is 80 percent, with showers and thunderstorms before 3 p.m., then mostly showers. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. The high will be 61, with south southwest wind at 7-16 mph. The wind will shift to the northwest in the afternoon, with gusts up to 23 mph.
Saturday night’s chance of rain will be 30 percent, but could be heavy at times. The low will be a cold 31.
Sunday we rebound a bit with mostly sunny skies and a high of 56. The low Sunday will be cold again, around 38 degrees.
Monday, rain returns with a 50 percent chance of showers. It will be mostly cloudy and 56. The same chance of rain is possible Monday night, with a low of 42.
Tuesday will have a 30 percent chance of showers, and be partly sunny and 63. The low will be 37.
Wednesday should be sunny and 60.
