Muggy is the best word to describe this week, with highs in the 80s and a chance of rain every day.
There’s a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today, mainly this afternoon. It will be a bit foggy in some areas early, then mostly cloudy with a high of 82. Southwest wind at 3-7 mph is bringing moisture up from the Gulf of Mexico. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Tonight, we’ll still have a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 66. South wind will be at 3-5 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is predicted.
Tuesday will have a 60 percent chance of showers and storms, be mostly cloudy and have a high of 80. South southwest wind will be at 6-9 mph. Expect a tenth to quarter inch of rain.
Tuesday night’s chance of rain is just 30 percent. It will be mostly cloudy and 66, with south wind at 5-7 mph calming overnight.

Then Saturday will be partly sunny and 85, but with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The chance of rain goes down to 40 percent Saturday night, with a low of 68.
