Rowan weather: No change in sight

It’s the same old song today, and the verses don’t change.
With partly sunny skies and a high of 82, we’ll have a 40 percent chance of showers this morning, then showers and thunderstorms after noon. East wind will be at 7-9 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch is expected.
Tonight’s chance of showers and storms is only 20 percent, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 65. East southeast wind around 6 mph will calm overnight. Expect patchy fog after 3 a.m.
Friday is the gateway to the long weekend, and it’s going to a lot like today. Patchy fog will hang around until around 9 a.m., then it will partly sunny and 83, with south southeast wind around 6 mph. The chance of showers and thunderstorms will be 40 percent, with a tenth to quarter inch of rain possible.
Friday night’s chance of rain and storms will be 30 percent, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 67. Winds will be from the south at 3-5 mph. Another tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.
Saturday, sadly, has a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be mostly cloudy and 84, with south southwest wind at 3-7 mph. Rain chances drop to 30 percent Saturday night, with a low of 67.
Sunday will also have a 50 percent chance of showers, be mostly cloudy and have a high near 82. The chance of showers and thunderstorms goes up to 70 percent Sunday night, with a low of 68.
And then on Memorial Day, there will be a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be cloudy and 81. The chance of rain Monday night will be 50 percent, with a low of 68.
And the same thing goes on into next week.
Tuesday will be cloudy and 83, with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Same chance of rain Tuesday night, with a low of 68 and cloudy skies.
Wednesday brings a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with more cloudy skies and a high near 82.
