Randall and Nora Patterson of China Grove are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Madisyn Patterson to Andrew Moody of China Grove.

Madisyn is the granddaughter of Fred and Edna Stamper and Phyllis and the late Carl Patterson, all of China Grove. A 2012 graduate of South Rowan High School, Madisyn earned a Bachelor of Exercise Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2017. She is a behavioral therapy technician for Butterfly Effects.

Andrew is the son of Chad and Sherry Walter of Mooresville and Bill and Stacy Moody of Statesville and the grandson of Herman and Betty Mayberry of Mooresville, Clifton and Brenda Lee of Mooresville, Bill and Carol Moody of Statesville, and Kay and the late Marlin Walter of Albion, N.Y. A 2010 graduate of South Rowan High School, Andrew is an electronic security technician for Loc-Doc Security in Charlotte.

The wedding is scheduled for Oct. 19, 2019.
