Rowan weather: Cloudy, humid, late-day storms

Did anyone get rain yesterday? It was a warm, muggy day, with plenty of clouds.
Today will be very similar. We’ll have a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly in the late afternoon. It will be mostly cloudy and 85, with high humidity. South southwest wind will be around 7 mph. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible, especially in late-day thunderstorms, which could bring gusty wind, frequent lightning, hail and heavy downpours.
Tonight, the chance of showers and storms is 40 percent, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 69. South southwest wind will be around 5 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch if rain is expected.
Friday will be mostly sunny, hot and humid, with a high of 90. The chance of showers and storms will be just 30 percent. Winds will be calm in the morning, then west southwest at 5-7 mph in the afternoon.
The chance of rain Friday night goes up to 50 percent, with calming west southwest wind. It will be mostly cloudy and 69 again, a muggy night.
Saturday has a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, but it will be partly sunny and 87. Calm wind will become west northwest at 5-7 mph. Pops at the Post might be dry. The chance of rain Saturday night is just 30 percent, with partly cloudy skies and a low of 68.
Sunday will be mostly sunny and 88, with a 30 percent chance of showers in the early afternoon, followed by thunderstorms. The same chance of storms and showers sticks around Sunday night, which will be partly cloudy and 65.
It looks like Monday will be mostly sunny and 84, with no chance of rain. The low will be 61.
Tuesday, too, looks rain-free, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 83. The low will be 61.
And Wednesday should be mostly sunny and 84.
