SALISBURY — Salisbury Police charged three juveniles after they nearly crashed a stolen vehicle and abandoned the car.

The owner told police they locked their Ford Taurus on Friday, but believe they may have dropped the keys near the car. Officials say someone witnessed the three jumping out of the car and running from the 1300 block of North Main Street.

The car was recovered with no damage, officials said.

The vehicle was stolen from Partee Street sometime between 1 and 3 p.m. The children were issued juvenile petitions.
