Today’s your day to cool off before the heat returns.
Last night’s storms caused some damage and have left pockets of fog around the county.
Today will be cloudy with a high of just 76 and east northeast wind at 6-8 mph. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and 65, with east northeast wind calming in the evening. Patchy fog is possible between midnight and 3 a.m.
Wednesday will be partly sunny and very warm, with a high of 88 and southwest wind at 3-7 mph. We’ll have a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5 p.m.
The same chance of rain continues Wednesday night, tapering off around 10 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 70, with light southwest wind. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.
Thursday will be partly sunny and 90 with calm wind. A 30 percent chance of showers and storms is possible after 1 p.m. The chance of rain Thursday night is just 20 percent, with a low of 69 and mostly cloudy skies.
Friday will be partly sunny and 89, with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. The low will be 68, with a 40 percent chance of showers and storms.
Saturday will be partly sunny and 86, also with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. The chance of rain decreases to 30 percent Saturday night, which will be partly cloudy and 67.
Sunday will be mostly sunny and 88. A 30 percent chance of rain is possible Sunday night, with a low of 69.
And Monday will have a 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms. It will be partly sunny and 90.
