Bruce and Judy Hendren Miller of Salisbury are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this weekend. They were married on June 16, 1968, at Jones Memorial Methodist Church in Mooresville.

The couple’s children are Alicia Miller Corbett and husband Paul of Graham and Randall Miller of Charlotte. The Millers have one granddaughter, Morgan Miller.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Miller retired after 30 years as teachers in the Rowan-Salisbury Schools, with most of their careers at South Rowan High School. Bruce was agriculture teacher and FFA advisor, and Judy taught senior English.

To honor their parents’ anniversary, Alicia and Randall are planning a fall trip for them to visit the San Francisco area.
