CONCORD — The Concord Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a stolen drag-racing car and the truck and trailer that was hauling it.

The truck and trailer were reported stolen at 2 a.m. Saturday from the parking lot of Homewood Suites hotel at 7300 Scott Padgett Parkway in Concord, according to Capt. T.J. McGhee. A 1999 Pontiac Firebird drag-racing was stored inside the trailer.

A yellow Can-Am 250 four-wheeler was in the bed of the truck.
