Rowan Sheriff’s Office removes two from its most wanted list

Rowan County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Michael Ray Trapp of 802 East Lafayette Street for felony failure to notify the sheriff of an address change by a registered sex offender.
Trapp was arrested on North Shaver Street and placed into the county jail under $10,000 secured bond.
James Alonzo Lewis, 66, was also arrested after being placed on the sheriff’s most wanted list in June for failure to notify the sheriff of an address change by a registered sex offender.
Lewis is also being held in the detention center awaiting trial and has been removed from the sheriff’s most wanted list.
