Rowan weather: Flooding still possible

We remain under a flash flood watch until 8 p.m. tonight.
Today will be cloudy and 80, with south wind at 5-9 mph. We’ll have a 70 percent chance of showers this morning, then thunderstorms. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.
Tonight has just a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be mostly cloudy and 69 with south wind at 3-7 mph. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is expected, with higher amounts in thunderstorms. Patchy fog will form around 5 a.m.
Fog will stick around until about 8 a.m. Saturday, but it will become partly sunny, with a high of 86 and southwest wind at 3-5 mph. The chance of showers and thunderstorms will be 30 percent, with less than a tenth of an inch of rain expected.
Saturday night has just a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 70 and partly cloudy skies.
Sunday, it’s back to a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, mainly after noon. It will be mostly sunny and 89, with light west southwest wind. Then there’s a 20 percent chance of rain Sunday night, with a low of 71.
Monday will be mostly sunny and 90, with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The same chance is possible Monday night, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 70,
Tuesday will be partly sunny and 90, with a 40 percent chance of showers and storms. The chance of rain goes down to 30 percent Tuesday night, which will be mostly cloudy and 70 again.
Wednesday has a 50 percent chance of showers and storms, but it will be partly sunny and 89. The chance of rain goes down to 40 percent Wednesday night, with a low of 69.
And Thursday will also have a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be partly sunny and 86.
