Cannon School
CONCORD — Construction crews have been a familiar sight on Cannon School’s campus all summer, so it was exciting to reveal the changes when doors opened for 1,010 students Aug. 16.
A new 23,000-square-foot middle school addition and a new upper school technology space are the result of the $3.8 million Imagine Tomorrow Campaign.
The middle school addition features 14 classrooms, including two science labs, a large library area with study pods and a large common area.
The technology space includes a maker space, digital media lab, fabrication studio and media production studio.
The new buildings have allowed rooms to be repurposed, resulting in dedicated spaces for lower-school language programs and after-school programs.
