Police blotter: Woman faces multiple charges after traffic stop

SALISBURY — A woman was charged with possession of marijuana and other offenses after she was stopped for speeding in the 5100 block of U.S. 601.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged Rolanda Nicole Washington, 31, on Wednesday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, having no insurance, speeding and driving while license revoked.
The traffic stop was about 1 a.m. Wednesday.
In other Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:
• A woman reported Wednesday that someone broke into her house and took items in the 1000 block of Celestial Drive.
• Aaron Allen Graham, 30, was charged Wednesday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI in the 100 block of Brewer Lane, China Grove.
• Jatwane Demetrius Cole, 24, was charged Wednesday with misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer at the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
• Leigh Ann Hatley, 33, was issued a citation for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of Brewer Lane, China Grove.
In Salisbury Police Department reports:
• A woman reported Tuesday that someone took items from her vehicle in the 1400 block of Klumac Road.
• A man reported an assault Tuesday at CookOut, 801 E. Innes St.
• A man reported an assault Wednesday in the 600 block of Park Avenue at North Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
• A woman reported an assault by a man Wednesday in the 400 block of West 15th Street.
• A man reported vandalism Wednesday in the 200 block of South Clay Street at East Bank Street.
