SALISBURY — A Salisbury man has been charged with sex offenses involving four minors over a multiyear period.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged Ezequiel Carvajal-Ramirez, 49, of the 1100 block of Highland Creek Drive, on Saturday with one count of statutory rape, three counts of statutory sex offense with a child, and four counts of indecent liberties with a child.
The incidents were reported in February. Four minors told investigators that Carvajal-Ramirez committed various sex acts with them when they were from 8 to 15 years old.
Carvajal-Ramirez was issued a $500,000 bond.
Detective B.C. Benfield investigated the case.
