President Trump has tweeted that Attorney General Jeff Sessions should launch an investigation to find out who the anonymous op-ed writer is.

What is missing from his tweet is the reason he wants the person found. Sessions should find the person — so I can fire him/her? Sessions should find the person — so I can silence them?

Instead of trying to locate people to silence them, he should be investigating why people on his staff keep painting him as incompetent, and instead direct his efforts at correcting the problems he is having. His behavior smacks of that of a young child who is caught with his hand in the cookie jar and begins pointing fingers at his brothers and sisters instead of owning up to his own misdeeds.
