ROCKWELL — Powles Staton Funeral Home is collecting bottled water, personal hygiene items and diapers until Oct. 10 to support the N.C. National Guard’s Family Readiness Program during the guard’s hurricane-relief efforts.

Items may be dropped off at the funeral home, 913 W. Main St., Rockwell, or at the Rowan County Register of Deeds Office, 402 N. Main St., Salisbury.
