Rowan weather: Rain moves in tonight

Looks like rain is headed back our way, and it will be followed by cold temperatures.
Today will be mostly cloudy and 60, with northeast wind at 5-9 mph. There’s a 20 percent chance of rain after 2 p.m.
Tonight will be cloudy and 54, with northeast wind around 8 mph. We’ll have a 70 percent chance of rain before 10 p.m., then showers after 1 a.m., followed by patchy fog. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is expected.
Friday also has a 70 percent chance of showers, mainly before 1 p.m. The day will start with patchy fog and be cloudy, with a high of 51. Northeast wind will be at 5-7 mph, then calm. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.
Friday night’s chance of showers is just 30 percent, mainly before 9 p.m. The night will start with clouds, which will clear and lead to a low of 38. Winds will be northwest at 5-8 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.
Saturday will be sunny, with a high of 52 and north northwest wind at 6-9 mph. Widespread frost is expected, with a clear night and a low of 27.
Veterans Day will start out with plenty of frost, then warm up a bit, with sunny skies and a high of just 49. The low will be 34, with partly cloudy skies; more frost is possible.
Monday, rain returns, with a 50 percent chance after 10 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 49 again. The chance of rain Monday night will be 60 percent, with cloudy skies and a low of 40.
Tuesday also has a 50 percent chance of rain, with more clouds and a high of 53. The low will be 33, with more clouds.
Wednesday should be mostly sunny and 50.
