Rowan weather: Lots of rain

Don’t expect to see much sun this week — it looks like it’s going to be cold and wet, with highs in the 40s and 50s.
The chance of rain today is 80 percent, with showers before 1 p.m., then rain. Rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog is likely after 1 p.m. It will be cloudy and cold, with a high of 45 and northeast wind at 5-8 mph this afternoon. Three-quarters to an inch of rain is possible.
Tonight has a 100 percent chance of rain, with showers before 11 p.m., then showers and thunderstorms, some of which could produce very heavy rainfall. One to 2 inches more rain is possible. The low will be 41, with north northeast wind at 5-8 mph calming after midnight.
Tuesday’s chance of rain will be 80 percent, and mostly before 2 p.m. Fog is likely before 2, as well. The high will be 53, with north northwest wind around 5 mph. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.
Tuesday night will have a 40 percent chance of rain, mainly before midnight. It will be cloudy and 37, with north wind around 8 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and 45, with northeast wind at 7-9 mph. The chance of rain will be 40 percent, mainly after 2 p.m. The chance goes up to 70 percent Wednesday night, mainly after 8 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 34.
For Thursday, we’ll have an 80 percent chance of rain, mainly before 4 p.m. The high will be 43. The low will be 36, with a 40 percent chance of rain before 1 a.m.
Friday, if we’re lucky, will be mostly sunny and 54. The low will be 35, under mostly clear skies.
Saturday will be sunny and 56, with a low of 32.
