LANDIS — The Landis Board of Aldermen will meet Monday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. in Town Hall, 312 S. Main St., Landis.

Board members will use the monthly session to consider a contract between the United States Department of Energy, the Southeast Power Administration and the town of Landis.

The group will also consider adopting a resolution in support of the Applicant Disaster Assistant Agreement for Hurricane Florence, as the town was among areas hardest hit in Rowan County during the September storm.

Aldermen will also make appointments to local boards and commissions, including the Transportation Advisory Committee, the Technical Coordination Committee and the Electricities Board of Commissioners.
