Rowan weather: Rain moves in tonight

You still need to be careful on the roads today, with lingering icy spots that refroze again last night.
And if that were not enough, we now have to worry about heavy rains and possible flooding Friday through Sunday.
Today will be mostly cloudy and 47, with light and variable wind.
Tonight will be cloudy and 35, with a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 3 a.m. Wind will be from the northeast around 6 mph after midnight. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.
Friday will have a 90 percent chance of showers, starting around 7 a.m. We’ll also have patchy fog between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. The high will be 46, with northeast wind at 7-9 mph. Three-quarters to an inch of rain is possible.
Friday night also has a 90 percent chance of showers, with a low of 42 and north northeast wind around 6 mph. Another half to three-quarters inch of rain is expected.
Saturday will be cloudy and 56, with a 60 percent chance of showers and east northeast wind calming during the morning.
Saturday night’s chance of rain will be 50 percent, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 41.
Sunday will have a 30 percent chance of rain before 11 a.m. it will be partly sunny and 54. The low will be 37, with mostly clear skies.
Monday should be sunny and warmer, with a high of 57. The low will be 32.
Look for more sun Tuesday, with a high of 52 and a clear night, with a low of 30.
Wednesday, too, should be sunny and 52.
