SALISBURY — Salisbury Police are investigating the stabbing of a local man who says he was attacked after he refused money to someone. Officials say they have few details and are working to gain more information from the victim.

The incident occurred Thursday and the 52-year-old victim was airlifted to another hospital with serious injuries. He was stabbed once in the abdomen. The suspect asked for money, the victim refused and was stabbed. The suspect then ran away.
