Catawba College cited as one of the ‘Hidden Gems of the Southeast’

Catawba College is among 25 institutions featured on www.OnlineSchoolsCenter.com’s “Hidden Gems of the Southeast.”
Other colleges and universities highlighted include Coker College, Berea College, West Virginia Wesleyan College, Lipscomb University and Hollins University.
According to the lead researcher and writer of the article, Rowan Jones, “These schools represent 25 of the best schools in the country” where “applicants to and students of any one of these colleges or universities can be exceedingly proud of their school and rest assured that they are receiving a fabulous education.”
Catawba is noted for its “nice, relaxing, yet studious learning environment where people cherish their friendships and support each other through their various degree programs, of which there are more than 70.”
Also cited were Catawba’s faculty, described as “top researchers and practitioners in their fields,” and classrooms that “are well-equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.”
The article reported that Catawba graduates “typically go on to complete graduate degrees in law, nursing and business or to work at competitive businesses like the Walt Disney Co.”
