Rowan weather: Rain ending, cooler air coming

As the rain leaves the area, temperatures will drop gradually and the wind will pick up.
We have a 90 percent chance of showers, mainly before 9 a.m. Less than a tenth of an inch more rain is expected. Temperatures will fall to 49 degrees by 5 p.m. and winds will be south southwest at 9-14 mph, then shift to west northwest, with gusts as high s 28 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear and cold, with a low of 28 and northwest wind at 3-7 mph.
Friday will be sunny and much cooler, with a high of 44 and west northwest wind at 5-9 mph. Friday night will be mostly clear and very cold, with a low of 22. Northwest wind around 5 mph will calm in the evening.
Saturday will be sunny and 45, with south southwest wind around 6 mph in the afternoon. Saturday night will be partly cloudy and 26.
Sunday will be mostly sunny and 49, with a partly cloudy night and a low of 30.
Monday should be mostly sunny and 53, with a low of 36 and mostly cloudy skies.
A 40 percent chance of showers is possible Tuesday, which will be mostly cloudy and 54. Tuesday night brings a 30 percent chance of rain and snow showers. It will be mostly cloudy and 27.
Wednesday will be partly sunny and just 39.
