SALISBURY — Salisbury police are investigating a number of vehicle break-ins in subdivisions, all of which were the result of unlocked doors.
Vehicles were broken into overnight Friday on Arabian Lane, Muirfield Way, Kern Drive and Wellington Hills Circle. Police say the vehicles were parked in the Crescent, Wellington Hills and Hidden Creek subdivisions.
Investigators said all the vehicles were ransacked and most had nothing of major value inside.
Officials are asking that anyone in those neighborhoods who may have security footage review it to see if they may have captured suspicious activity.
Police remind residents to lock their vehicles and take any valuable items out of the vehicle or risk losing the property.
Anyone with information on the recent break-ins is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department at 704-638-5333 or Salisbury-Rowan CrimeStoppers at 866-639-5245.
