Rowan weather: Keep the umbrella handy

The week is going to start wet and end wet, with a couple of sunny days in between.
Today we’ll have rain and drizzle before 11 a.m., then rain between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Patchy fog will be around until noon, then again after 4 p.m. It will be cloudy and 47, with light wind. The chance of rain is 70 percent, with a tenth to quarter inch possible.
Tonight’s chance of rain is 80 percent, with another tenth to quarter inch of rain possible. We’ll see areas of drizzle and a chance of rain before 9, then rain with a little drizzle after 9, along with patchy fog. The low will be 42, with east northeast wind at 3-5 mph.
Tuesday, too, will start with areas of drizzle, then showers after noon. Patchy fog will hang around until about 2 p.m. The high will be 60, with east northeast wind of 5-10 mph shifting to the south southwest in the afternoon. The chance of rain is 80 percent, with another quarter to half inch possible.
Tuesday night has a 60 percent chance of rain, with showers before 7 p.m., followed by rain between 7 p.m. and 4 a.m. It will be cloudy, then clear gradually. The low will be 38, with west southwest wind at 10-13 mph and gusts up to 22 mph. A tenth to quarter inch more rain is possible.
Wednesday will be sunny and 58, with west wind at 8-14 mph and gusts up to 24 mph. The low will be 33, with mostly clear skies.
Thursday will be mostly sunny and 60. Thursday night will have a 40 percent chance of rain between midnight and 2 a.m., then a chance of showers. It will be mostly cloudy and 45.
Friday has a 70 percent chance of rain, with showers after 10 a.m. It will be cloudy and 63. The chance of rain Friday night will be 50 percent, with a low of 38 and mostly cloudy skies.
Saturday should be mostly sunny and 54, with a cold low of 31.
Sunday, too, should be sunny, with a high of 55.
