Blotter: Man reports sunglasses stolen from vehicle

SALISBURY — A man told the Salisbury Police Department on Tuesday that someone stole items from his vehicle while it was parked at his home in the 2600 block of Old Wilkesboro Road.
The thief took two pairs of Oakley sunglasses, each valued at $130, from a 2014 Honda Accord. The theft occurred between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 6:40 a.m. Tuesday.
In other Salisbury police reports:
• A man on Tuesday reported a larceny that occurred between Feb. 15 and Monday in the 600 block of West Fisher Street.
• A man reported a larceny Tuesday in the 300 block of East Innes Street.
• A man reported a larceny Tuesday in the 200 block of West Liberty Street.
In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:
• A man reported Monday that someone stole a firearm from his vehicle in the 600 block of Lake Wright Road, China Grove.
• A man reported a break-in Monday in the 100 block of Thunder Road, China Grove.
• William Thomas Kennedy, 19, was charged Monday with misdemeanor simple assault at the Rowan County Detention Center.
• Summey Newman Biggerstaff, 31, was charged Monday with misdemeanor assault on a female in the 100 block of Wal Hollow Lane, Mooresville.
• Shana Gail Woodard, 34, was charged Monday with felony obtaining property by false pretenses in the 2400 block of McGill Street, Kannapolis.
