A Salisbury man who was on the Rowan Sheriff’s Office most wanted list was arrested Wednesday night, after being added to the list earlier this week.

Michael Linn Grissom Jr., 32, was arrested by deputies from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Patrol and Sheriff’s Crime Reduction Unit team on Bringle Ferry Road. Deputies responded to the area based on tips from the public and located Grissom.

Grissom was charged in March with felony statutory sex offense on a child and indecent liberties. Grissom remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $51,000 secured bond.
