SALISBURY — A man and woman were charged with breaking and entering after someone reported they were at the home of a relative who had not given them permission to be there, according to a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office report.
Andrea Jane Marlowe, 26, was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor breaking and entering, felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, and simple possession of marijuana. She was arrested and issued a $3,000 secured bond. She remains in the Rowan County Detention Center.
Danny Lee Gobble, 30, was charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering. He was issued a $2,500 secured bond and remains in the Rowan County jail.
A caller told authorities that Gobble and a woman were inside a property where they weren’t supposed to be, a report said.
Deputies found the two and searched a duffel bag that Marlowe had with her. She gave the deputy permission to search the bag. Marlowe told the deputy there were “insulin needles” in the bag but they were covered.
The deputy found a plastic bag in her left pants pocket with a gray rock inside that Marlowe told him was “China,” a type of heroin. Marlowe also had a pocket knife.
