Opening reception for ‘New Works and Such’
5-7 p.m. tonight
Rail Walk Studios & Gallery announce an exhibit of new and recent worksof fine art, titled “New Works and Such.”
This is a compilation of paintings, basket and gourds,recently completed by members of Rail Walk.
Participating artists include Marietta Smith,Sharon Forthofer, Keyth Kahrs, Mark Stephenson, Glen Yost and Pamela Sofley. Mediums used range in scope from watercolor, acrylics, and oils to hand-painted carved gourds and woven baskets.
Tonight’s reception is open to the public. Meet the artists, and share in the discussion of all things art related. Refreshments and light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Rail Walk Studios & Gallery is located at 409-413 N. Lee St. Gallery hours are: Thursday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
