SALISBURY — A Salisbury man was robbed at gunpoint early Friday morning and hit across the face with a gun. He was not seriously injured.
The man said he stepped out of his home in the 1400 block of West Horah Street about 2 a.m. to take something to his carport when he was approached by a black man wearing all black and holding a small handgun. The suspect also wore a skully knit cap.
The robber told the man to hand over his wallet, which he did. The robber motioned the man to go to the front yard and struck him on the left side of the forehead. The man fell to the ground.
According to a police report, the robber took less than $100 from the wallet and tossed the wallet aside.
Police said no arrest has been made. The investigation is ongoing.
