Blotter: Man arrested after shots fired calls in Salisbury

SALISBURY — Antoine Alfonzo Holmes was arrested Saturday on multiple charges after police responded to a report of shots fired.
The Salisbury Police Department said an officer on patrol heard shots at Clancy Hills Apartments.
Police said there was a short pursuit and Holmes, 41, of Salisbury, did not stop immediately and jumped out of his vehicle.
Holmes was arrested and charged with felony fleeing to elude arrest; resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer; possession of a firearm by a felon; and hit and run with property damage.
Holmes was issued a $50,000 bond.
In other Salisbury Police Department reports:
• James Michael Nicholson, 38, of Salisbury, was charged with larceny Friday at Go Burrito, 115 W. Fisher St. He is being held under a $1,000 bond.
• Blair Edward Bodan, 46, of Salisbury, was charged Sunday with second-degree trespassing at Walmart, 323 S. Arlington St. Police also had two outstanding warrants for trespassing against Bodan. He is being held under a $30,000 bond.
• Mary Katherine Adkins, 24, of Salisbury, was arrested Monday at Sheetz on South Jake Alexander Boulevard. She was charged with concealment of merchandise, possession of a controlled substance Schedule IV, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon. Adkins is being held under a $1,500 bond.
In Rowan County Sheriff’s reports:
• Candace Nicole Story, 28, of Landis, was charged with having drug paraphernalia. Police responded to her residence after a report of a physical disturbance. Officers found Story and a man at the home. They asked to search Story’s vehicle and found a glass smoking pipe in the storage compartment of the driver’s door.
