CHINA GROVE — The Market at the Mill will kick-off its 10th season Friday at the China Grove Roller Mill, 308 N. Main St.

The market will be open from 4 to 6 p.m. every Friday, May to September. Vendor fees are $5 per week. New vendors are welcome.

The Market is sponsored by the Rowan Museum.

Shoppers can also sit on the porch to visit with friends and neighbors.

KANNAPOLIS — The Kannapolis Farmers Market will open Thursday, in time for you to enjoy an abundance of ripe strawberries, lettuce, berries and asparagus.

The market will be held every Thursday, 4-7 p.m., at the corner of Vance Avenue and Dale Earnhardt Boulevard. The market continues through September.

Returning vendors offer a wide variety of fresh, local produce, as well as honey, spices, crafts and prepared foods and sauces.
